Almost time for the 30 Day Challenge to start. I’ll be heading off to bed soon so I can be fresh in the morning. I have some clients’ XSite Pro templates to work on before I can tackle the 30 Day Challenge coursework. One thing that we all need to remember is to maintain our work ethic when it comes to our day jobs or our online businesses. While the 30DC is exciting, there’s still bread and butter to earn… and our customers still deserve our best efforts.

Whoohoo! The StumbleCrumble Developer resolved my problem. Apparently since I am using Google Widgets, the StumbleCrumble code has to go at the END of my sidebar. It’s working! Thank you Paul Cheek for your great little Add-on and the even greater customer service.
Check out a list of some of my StumbledUpon sites at the bottom of my sidebar.

Spent time today preparing for the Thirty Day Challenge. Got FaceBook Group set up and added more 30 Day Challenge twitterers to my Twitter account. Got ScribeFire set up so I can post straight from my browser and not have to open my blog admin.
Also got the Shareomatic plugin installed on the blog. Now visitors can add a post to any of dozens of social bookmarking sites with one click.
Still didn’t get the StumbleCrumble plugin to work.
Disappointed because it looks quite straightforward.

Today is my birthday and I spent the day with my family. Great fun! My youngest son introduced my older son to Guitar Hero for the Playstation. The “joystick” is shaped (and played) like an electric guitar. They had a blast. My three year old grandson understood the concept immediately and did his best to play, too! Another geek in the making… so satisfying! lol
Now I need to rush off and send out a newsletter for one of my clients, and another client is back needing some more work on his Web site. It’s great to be needed!
I joined Bloglines so I can follow all my favourite blogs (and I can even get newsletters sent to my Bloglines email address and read them just like blogs… very cool!). Also joined Twitter so now I can keep up with all the other twitterers on the 30 Day Challenge. Web 2.0 is a lot of fun… just hope I can get some work done now that I’m blogging and twittering. I guess I have to start podcasting now! Yoiks! Good job it’s all going to be part of my new marketing plan!

I joined Ed Dale’s 30 Day Challenge and I’m now part of a team called The Rockets! We haven’t even started the challenge yet and we’ve already been introduced to some amazing online tools and resources. I’m going to try to add something cool to my blog tonight, but I’m having trouble accessing the download site. What I’m trying to get is called StumbleCrumble and it enables me to add sites I find through StumbleUpon to my blog links. How cool is that?!
